Dear Guests

We’re all experiencing unimaginably life-threatening and life-changing times dealing with the Covid-19 Crisis and with this in mind, we want to give you a brief update. Here's a short summary of what’s happened, and what will happen next. And afterwards, we’ll also bring you some good news!

What happened?

Out of an abundance of concern for our Guests, staff and community, we reduced occupancy 50%, upgraded Guests to private entrance rooms separate from each other and common areas, and delivered lunch and dinner when local restaurants stopped seating. As an essential business, we stayed open with our restrictions and with ever-changing often questionable government restrictions.

Do you have bookings you can't or prefer not to use?

We're offering several flexible options for existing and new bookings if you need to rearrange your travel plans. We’re now giving you the opportunity to either change your bookings or to convert them to a booking credit at our expense - $150/day savings. We want to provide as good a service as possible to Guests cancelling, while at the same time preparing to get through the crisis and continue as before when society returns to normal.

We want to say a big thank you for all the support and patience from so many of our Guests and community. Guests continue to need help to rearrange travel plans. It’s a very busy time for us to get back to inquiries, and unfortunately there are still delays. Thank you very much for your patience and understanding!

What happens next?

We will continue working hard for Trinidad Bay to be the best Bed and Breakfast Hotel here - creating lodging enjoyment and sharing our favorite place anywhere;  a business that dares to challenge the established and a business in which dedicated staff can meet for work every day while serving our community, local businesses and city government.

Some good news for our Guests

To ensure our rescheduling Guests keep their well-deserved booking credit, while there are government restrictions, we have decided to temporarily pause all regular change restrictions and fees ($150/day). Furthermore, on non-refundable rates, we have offered up-to 50% special credit consideration for cancelled bookings when Guests choose not to reschedule.
